Reef Rescue Network
In June 2019 Valentines Dive Center joined the Reef Rescue Network managed by the Perry Institute for Marine Science to help restore critically endangered corals and rehabilitate coral reefs. With support from Valentines Resort and our team at Valentines Dive Center we have successfully created a coral nursery near one of our dive sites. We will be maintaining this nursery monthly and hope to transplant to the unhealthy reef system nearby to strengthen the reefs.
We're Doing Our Part
As we all become more aware of our harmful impression on land & ocean, Valentines Dive Center is doing our part to minimize our impact. From purchasing garments made from recycled products to using paper cups made from recycled paper, buying in bulk and refilling our plastic containers, and supplying our shoppers with reusable shopping bags.
